The anticipation and expectation were at their maximum prior to the Henrik Vibskov show. Music key one… models go… and all of a sudden the beautiful collection presented paralyzed the audience.
The three Swedish sisters; Jennifer, Sofie and Pernilla Elvestedt wowed us with their fabulous Minimarket show this Copenhagen Fashion Week. The models were styled in black wigs with bangs, and looked like a very trendy Cleopatra anno 2011.

Norwegian Helje Hamre showed his SS12-collection at the City Hall. The collection consisted of elegant, modern styles in chiffon, satin, cotton and leather, mainly in the colours white, grey, black, petroleum and bordeaux.
On friday evening Carlsberg’s Tap 2 was filled with press, royals and celebrities attending a thorough fashion show when it comes to details – there was champagne, bottles of water designed by Malene Birger, live piano music and chairs in Malene Birgers well-known black and white stripes.
Fluid silhouettes, Greek-goddess-like dresses, together with black, boxy and semi-shapeless, minimalistic dresses constituted the main looks of the runway. It seems that the more silk you can integrate into your looks, the better, in order to create a sense of sophistication.
A fitness centre with muscle men working out at the machines was a pleasant surprise when Astrid Andersen showed her SS12 collection.
Finally the era of colourful-pastel-crappy-coloured balloons is over. Now its time for black balloons whilst wearing stripes (again) and pantyhose in Easter-yellow/ dusty lavender colours.
